Bee Swarms Sightings – Who to Contact
Pest controllers do not apply bee treatments unless there’s a serious threat to human life. 25% of all bee types are endangered. Please contact Isle of Wight Bee Keeping Association (IWBKA) on their website, or through the numbers below
Bee Swarms welcomed at Quarr Abbey
If you see a swarm of bees please let us know. Don’t get stung – we will send an experienced beekeeper to collect them and re-home this at the teaching apiary where they will be invaluable for the Rearing Island Bees project.
